We end up in toxic relationships with no way out. We are being pressured regarding the way we look. We are daily exposed to danger and death, either by social media, the news or life itself. We are expected to always be within reach and spend less time just relaxed and present in the moment. We are struggling more and more with mental health issues, a lot of them caused by stress and anxiety. It feels like our lives hang by a thread.
This collection is exploring how fashion can be used as a therapeutic medium. By exploring the relationship between our bodies and what we wear, tactility and its effect on our mentality, the collection wants to embrace this lost generation and give them some calm and piece. Additionally, the collection explores how clothes can be worn without any trimmings and what alternatives there is.
